The passion for motorcycling is rooted in my family’s history: Back those days my father learned how to drive his motorcycle when he did his military service. Since then he even found his route round Australia in the 1970s with a Honda 450. The only thing that could stop him was the birth of my brother and me – and my very stubborn mother, who probably was the only human being that could convince him to change his beloved Kawasaki 900 for a red VW Golf. Now, nearly 40 years later, I will supplement the motorcycle-travel-map of my family with a route through some more countries that have not been traversed by us yet.

How to plan your route I don’t want to write an instruction on how to plan your route for a RTW-trip because the planning in my opinion starts with your own points of interest.
