There are some personal opinions in there, but don't take it too serious, ok? It's true that we seem to be riding a wave of enthusiasm for modular gear, and not just Eurorack. It reminds me of the MIDI explosion years ago!

My concern is simply that musicians get into modular to buy the fancy new modules without realizing that the modules themselves are but a tiny part of what makes modular so powerful. Learning where the true strength of a modular system lies is another task entirely. It is to this end that I create videos that are completely devoid of gear reviews LoFi Junglist Modules bought in haste are a great boost to the second-hand market.That being said, gear holds it's price pretty well. People that do buy the 'latest & Best' don't really loose that much by trying it out, and then passing it on.

I still only have a few keyboards but the modular has overtaken several rooms. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Chamomileshark I managed to avoid the whole hype /GAS thing by cunningly chosing Frac. Just before Euro took off. Actually I went fro frac for the Wiard.
