Not sure if anyone is still interested in this thread, but I have an sta/hoontech DSP2000-CPort and, like everyone else, have not been able to make it work under Windows 7. I had heard that there are Linux drivers for the Envy24 chipset, so decided to give it a try, thinking if it worked at all it would require hours fiddling around and loading obscure drivers. I made a partition and downloaded Ubuntu studio 12.04, fired it up and was very pleasantly surprised to find the DSP2000 worked straight away - no set-up steps required! I could fire up Ardour (supplied DAW) and add in some tracks and record and playback immediately - even under XP it was harder than that! I normally use Reaper under Windows 7, so next step is to try running that under Wine.

Mikedid you manage to to make it work with windows 7?via has a driver for the envy24(not asio) do u think it might work if i install this envy24 driver and try to install xp drivers on windows 7.maybe??
